Recently went for a sports celebration for a party of 50, mix of adults and 10 year-olds. Got the "buffet" plan where they keep bringing out pizza until people are done eating. Pizza was mediocre. Breadsticks were good. However, when the bill came we were charged $13 per person. For 2 adults and 2 children, we consumed a grand total of 8 pieces of pizza, a pitcher of pop, 1 salad and 4 breadsticks for a grand total of $52. During the confusion of check-out we didn't think much about it. However, the next day a couple of the parents called back to ask why so little pizza costs so much. The manager in charge was incredibly rude and obnoxious, telling the parents to never come back if they didn't like the price. In a small community such as ours that has experienced so much financial hardship, this type of behavior is disappointing and embarassing. If you're looking for mediocre food at inflated prices and terrible customer service, Pia's is the place for you!

Pia's food is great. The service not so great. But Pia's food is so good, it is worth waiting for it. I have been going here for years. I tried other places for pizza and it cannot compare. I think they should hire more waitstaff. You will get seated fast, but, the waitstaff are very busy and you might have to wait awhile for your food.

Pia's is a Taylor institution, just like Wal-mart and chewing tobacco. Unlike the latter two, Pia's is an enjoyable experience. The food is solid, but the pizza is where they really shine. Forget those chains named after Huts or Romans, and enjoy what pizza is supposed to taste like. Their pies are made from real, fresh ingredients, and the sauce is outstanding (maybe just a tad more garlic?). The staff is friendly, efficient, and most of them seem to have been there for a while. Like the title says, they must be doing something right.

If you need some place to go on Monday nights where the kids can really enjoy themselves, and the adults can relax and enjoy each other! The pizza and the pasta here are really good! Occassionally they need more staff to better service their patrons, but always a pleasant experience! They have a clown in on Monday's "GingerBell" great with the kids! She does face painting and makes balloon animals! Always a hit!

What can I say - Pia's is the best italian food around. Family owned personal service. The prices are a throw-back from the 1980's. Everything is freshly made to order. Pasta and soups are homemade. And the Sauce is to die for. They actually jar it and sell it. Not to mention I've never had better pizza ever. Everything from Fetticine Alfredo with shrimp or chicken to veal dishes and baked manicotti. Oui ve ! DELICIOSO!
